How do I use the brush roll?

The switch can be found on the top right hand side of the canister. The brush roll is best used on when vacuuming carpets. Turn off the brush roll when vacuuming hardwood or tile.

What does the suction control valve do?

Suction control allows you let air out of the vacuum, which is useful when switching to different types of carpets.

How do I know if I need to clean the filter?

Begin by removing the canister from the vacuum, then twist the lid until it unlocks. Once you remove the lid, pull out the filter and look at both sides to determine if the filter needs to be washed.

How do I wash the filter?

Clean the filter by placing it under running water until all the dirt and debris are washed away. Next place out to dry for 24 hours.

How often do I need to wash my filter?

It’s important to wash your filter every month.

Is there another filter on board?

Yes, the HEPA filter is located underneath the location of the bottom of the dirt cup and should be tapped clean every 6 months.

Troubleshooting

I’m not sure my Vacuum is picking anything up.

It could be your filter or a clog. Please refer to troubleshooting section below.

I feel like there may be a clog in my vacuum.

Please try the following steps:

    Dust cup air duct

  • Make sure the vacuum is standing upright
  • Remove the dirt cup and ensure it is completely empty
  • Disconnect the attached hose
  • Check the air duct behind the dirt cup for clogs and clean before replacing
  • Intake opening behind the brushroll

  • Make sure the vacuum is lying flat to expose the brushroller
  • Check the opening behind the brushroll for clogs
  • Ensure the opening is clear
  • Clear the brushroll by using scissors to carefully cut away threads, hair, or other debris that might be trapped in the bristles
  • Hose Attachment

  • Make sure the vacuum is standing upright
  • Remove hose from both the vacuum and any cleaning attachment you may have attached
  • Inspect both ends and the length of the hose for clogs
  • Return the hose to the unit
